Parents, you are the key to the success of the Texas Quiz Show. Your support of the contest is what enables students, teachers and administrators to participate in making Texas history alive and relevant.
If your school already participates in the Texas Quiz Show, here are some ways to make the Texas Quiz Show experience even more enjoyable:
- Make up questions from you child’s Texas history textbook and practice the quiz on your own.
- Play “historical scavenger hunt” with you child and friends in the Handbook of Texas Online. Choose a topic and see how long it takes the children to find out about it.
- Visit your local library or historical association and see how many questions you and your kids can make up about your own town.
