AgeWadsworth's Company

The notation opposite the name of John Lind on the LOMR is "Sick at Velasco." He was never present with the company at Goliad.

LINLEY, CHARLESPrivate
AgeBurke's Company

Charles Linley was one of a squad of nine men, sent from San Felipe, February 9th, under Acting Lieutenant Sprague, to reinforce Fannin, three of whom escaped from the massacre. Except David J. Jones, listed as a member of Pettus' Company, Linley seems to have been the only one of nine who definitely joined a recognized company of Fannin's men. His name appears on the Land Office copy of Burke's roll and on original and subsequent versions of T&TR roll, as having perished at the massacre, March 27, 1836.
