Shackelford's Company, and original and all subsequent versions of T&TR roll indicate that he perished at Goliad, March 27, 1836.

This soldier's name appears on LOMR as private, King's Company, and he signed the Convention Memorial at Refugio on March 27, 1836. Every presumption is that he was either killed in action on March 14th or massacred with King on March 16th.
 

HETH, JOEL F.Private
AgeKing's Company

The name of Joel Heth appears on LOMR as private in King's Company. His signature on Convention Memorial is, indisputably, "Joel F. Heth." On some of the published lists it appears as "Heath." Every presumption is that he was either killed in action on March 14th, or massacred with King on March 16th.
