The Handbook comprises more than 27,000 entries and counting, as spinoff projects, such as the Handbook of Houston and the Handbook of Texas Women Project, enhance its content. Our educational programs online and in the classroom. More than 1,000,000 students benefit each year from our educational programs and our vast online resources. For example, our annual Texas History Day is a celebration of Lone Star State history and encourages students to develop their research, communication, and teamwork skills.
