DICKINSON BAY. Dickinson Bay, a roughly circular bay just over a mile across at its widest point, is on the west side of Galveston Bay southwest of San Leon in north central Galveston County just south of the Chambers county line (at 29°28' N, 94°56' W). The bay is fed by Dickinson Bayou and formed by the extension of Cat Point, April Fool Point, and Shell Island into Galveston Bay.
