SWAN LAKE (Galveston County). Swan Lake is a mile southwest of Texas City on the west side of Galveston Bay in central Galveston County (at 29°21' N, 94°54' W). The lake, a mile long and one-half mile wide, is divided from the bay by a narrow strip of land and is connected to the bay by Campbell Bayou.
