RED SALT LAKE
RED SALT LAKE. Red Salt Lake is a natural lake (centered at 32°10' N, 101°41' W) twelve miles southwest of Big Spring and just north of Interstate Highway 20 in the southwestern corner of Howard County. Boggy Lake, a smaller natural lake, is just southeast of Red Salt Lake. The local rolling terrain with moderate relief is surfaced by loose sandy soil that supports some sparse grasses and brush.
