DEWEY LAKE. Dewey Lake is on Thirty-six Draw near the intersection of State Highway 158 and Farm Road 1800 twelve miles west of Garden City in west central Glasscock County (at 31°55' N, 102°41' W). The natural lake, which has an estimated 100 surface acres, is surrounded by quartz sand and silt substrate with loose sandy soil. Scrub brush and grasses are found nearby.
