BEEF CANYON (Kinney County). Beef Canyon is a break in the Anacacho Mountains in southeastern Kinney County. It originates in the southwestern side of the mountains (at 29°12' N, 100°12' W) and runs southwest for six miles to its mouth on Stricklin Creek (at 29°08' N, 100°15' W).
