WEYMILLER BUTTE. Weymiller Butte is eleven miles southwest of Uvalde in southwestern Uvalde County (at 29°09' N, 100°00' W). With an elevation of 1,004 feet above sea level, its summit rises 100 feet above the nearby Nueces River. The butte was named for the Weymiller family, early grantees of the land.
