TWIN PEAKS [#3] (BREWSTER COUNTY)
TWIN PEAKS [#3] (Brewster County). The Twin Peaks are twelve miles southwest of the Persimmon Gap Ranger Station in south central Brewster County (centered at 29°37' N, 103°21' W). At an elevation of 3,763 feet above sea level, they rise 560 feet above Cedar Creek, ½ mile southeast. The area has shallow, stony soils that support scrub brush and grasses.
