THREE MOUNDS. Three Mounds is a group of summits located twelve miles northeast of Muenster, one mile east of Farm Road 1201, and three miles south of a bend in the Red River in northern Cooke County (at 33°49' N, 97°15' W). The mounds have an elevation of 956 feet.
