NEGROHEAD HILL. Negrohead Hill, also known as Niggerhead Hill, is a summit between Inks Lake and Lake Buchanan nine miles west of Burnet and two miles north of State Highway 29 in western Burnet County (at 30°47' N, 98°23' W). It stands at an elevation of 1,380 feet above sea level, more than 300 feet higher than the surrounding countryside.
