MCADAMS PEAK. McAdams Peak, located in northwestern Palo Pinto County (at 32°54' N, 98°25' W), has an elevation of 1,394 feet. The surrounding flat terrain has local deep and dense dissection and is surfaced by stony, clayey, and loamy soils that support live oak, juniper, and mesquite.
