GRAY MOUNTAIN. Gray Mountain is a summit overlooking the Colorado River sixteen miles northwest of Burnet in northwestern Burnet County (at 30°54' N, 98°25' W). It stands at an elevation of 1,452 feet above sea level, about 350 feet higher than the surrounding countryside.
