EVENSVILLE PEAK. Evensville Peak, with an elevation of 1,435 feet above sea level, is 1½ miles southwest of Strawn in southwestern Palo Pinto County (at 32°32' N, 98°31' W). The local terrain is characterized by rolling hills, surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support scrub brush, mesquite, cacti, and grasses.
