CAPOTE KNOB. Capote Knob is a small summit just north of the Capote Hills, near the headwaters of O'Neal Creek, and twelve miles southeast of Seguin in Guadalupe County (at 29°30' N, 97°47' W). The top of the hill is 726 feet above mean sea level, 150 feet higher than the surrounding landscape.
