WEST FORK OF CHOCOLATE BAYOU
WEST FORK OF CHOCOLATE BAYOU. The West Fork of Chocolate Bayou rises three miles north of Juliff in east central Fort Bend County (at 29°30' N, 95°28' W) and flows southeast for eleven miles to its mouth on Chocolate Bayou, six miles west of Alvin in northeast Brazoria County (at 29°25' N, 95°22' W). The creek flows through flat to rolling prairie where grasses and palmetto grow in dark, commonly calcareous, clays.
