WILLOW CREEK (WISE COUNTY)
WILLOW CREEK (Wise County). Willow Creek rises four miles southeast of Gibtown in southwestern Wise County (at 33°00' N, 97°52' W) and runs north for about twelve miles and empties into Lake Bridgeport seven miles east of Bridgeport (at 33°09' N, 97°52' W). It crosses flat terrain with clay and sandy loams which support water-tolerant harwoods, conifers, and grasses.
