WILKERSON CREEK. Wilkerson Creek rises ½ mile east of Woods in southeastern Panola County (at 32°01' N, 94°15' W) and runs for eight miles to its mouth on the Sabine River, two miles east of Old Center (at 32°01' N, 94°09' W). It crosses generally flat terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
