WHITE CREEK (BRAZOS COUNTY)
WHITE CREEK (Brazos County). White Creek rises in Brazos County a mile north of Farm Road 2818 within the College Station city limits (at 30°36' N, 96°22' W) and runs southwest for 5½ miles, passing Easterwood Airport and paralleling the College Station corporate boundary, until it enters the Brazos River at the Brazos-Burleson county line (at 30°32' N, 96°22' W). Where not developed for airport use the area through which the stream travels is characterized by flat to moderately rolling terrain surfaced by deep to shallow clay and sandy loams that support grasses, live oak, hackberry, and mesquite.
