WHITE CREEK (LIVE OAK COUNTY)
WHITE CREEK (Live Oak County). White Creek rises eleven miles southwest of George West in west central Live Oak County (at 28°18' N, 98°17' W) and runs northwest for eight miles to its mouth on the Nueces River, eight miles southwest of Three Rivers (at 28°24' N, 98°18' W). It crosses low-rolling and flat terrain with locally shallow depressions, surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support grasses, mesquite, and chaparral in the creek's upper reaches and water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses in its lower.
