TWOMILE CREEK (MENARD COUNTY)
TWOMILE CREEK (Menard County). Twomile Creek rises three miles southwest of Hext in eastern Menard County (at 30°51' N, 99°34' W) and runs north for four miles to its mouth on the San Saba River, three miles northwest of Hext (at 30°54' N, 99°34' W). It crosses flat to rolling prairie with local escarpments surfaced by fine and sandy to moderately deep clay loams that support hardwood forests, mesquite, and grasses.
