TENNEY CREEK. Tenney Creek rises four miles east of McMahan in eastern Caldwell County (at 29°51' N, 97°28' W) and runs southwest for eleven miles to its mouth on Plum Creek, two miles east of Brownsboro (at 29°47' N, 97°34' W). It crosses rolling prairie with some local shallow depressions surfaced by shallow clay and sandy loams that support mesquite, mixed hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
