SALT CREEK (BEE COUNTY)
SALT CREEK (Bee County). Salt Creek rises 1½ miles east of Oaks in northwestern Bee County (at 28°39' N, 98°00' W) and runs southwest for six miles to its mouth on Sulphur Creek, two miles northeast of Ray Point in northeast Live Oak County (at 28°33' N, 98°04' W). The stream traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
