SPRING CREEK (Nolan County). Spring Creek rises one mile north of State Highway 608 and ten miles southeast of Sweetwater in central Nolan County (at 32°18' N, 100°23' W) and runs northwest for four miles to its mouth on Sweetwater Creek, immediately east of the Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad ten miles southwest of Sweetwater (at 32°20' N, 100°26' W). The creek crosses flat to gently sloping terrain surfaced by sand that supports scrub brush and various grasses.
