SOUTH MAYDE CREEK
SOUTH MAYDE CREEK. South Mayde Creek rises four miles north of Katy in north Harris County (at 95°47' N, 29°52' W) and flows southeast for sixteen miles to its mouth on Buffalo Bayou (at 95°37' N, 29°46' W). The low-rolling to flat terrain in the area is surfaced by deep to shallow sandy and clay loams that support mixed hardwoods and pines.
