SLICKROCK CREEK. Slickrock Creek rises at the foot of Rattlesnake Mountain three miles west-northwest of the Round Mountain community in northern Blanco County (at 30°27' N, 98°23' W) and runs north, through Hill Country terrain, for eight miles to its mouth on the south shore of Lake Lyndon B. Johnson, two miles above Wirtz Dam in southeastern Llano County (at 30°33' N, 98°22' W).
