SANDY CREEK (EASTLAND COUNTY)
SANDY CREEK (Eastland County). Sandy Creek rises in northwestern Eastland County (at 32°23' N, 99°04' W) four miles east of Cisco on Farm Road 2945 and runs sixteen miles northeast through Lake Cisco into southwestern Stephens County to its mouth (at 32°32' N, 98°57' W) on Big Sandy Creek five miles east of Gunsight. Rolling hills and prairie are surfaced by clay and sandy loams which support scrub brush, cacti, and grasses.
