SALT CREEK (KARNES COUNTY)
SALT CREEK (Karnes County). Salt Creek rises four miles northeast of Runge in eastern Karnes County (at 28°58' N, 97°42' W) and runs southwest for five miles to its mouth on Ecleto Creek, three miles northwest of Runge (at 28°54' N, 97°45' W). The creek traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
