SALT CREEK (Erath County). Salt Creek rises in northwestern Erath County six miles northwest of Huckabay (at 32°23' N, 98°25' W) and runs north eight miles to its mouth (at 32°29' N, 98°21' W) on Barton Creek near the Palo Pinto county line one mile east of State Highway 108. Rolling hills are surfaced by clay and sandy loams which support elm, oak, and grass.
