SALITRILLO CREEK. Salitrillo (Salatrillo) Creek rises two miles west of Randolph Air Force Base in northeastern Bexar County (at 29°34' N, 98°21' W) and runs southeast for ten miles to its mouth on Martinez Creek, just west of Farm Road 1518 (at 29°27' N, 98°13' W). It traverses rolling terrain surfaced by clay loam that supports mesquite, live oak, and grasses.
