ROCK CREEK (JOHNSON COUNTY)
ROCK CREEK (Johnson County). Rock Creek rises 3½ miles northwest of Joshua in northwestern Johnson County (at 32°28' N, 97°27' W) and runs north for 10½ miles to its mouth on Benbrook Reservoir, two miles southwest of Primrose in southwestern Tarrant County (at 32°36' N, 97°27' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. The surrounding variable terrain is surfaced by shallow, stony clay loams that support juniper and oak trees, grasses, chaparral, and cacti.
