ROCHELLE CREEK. Rochelle Creek rises a mile east of Redwater in southeastern Bowie County (at 33°22' N, 94°14' W). Intermittent in its upper reaches, the stream flows in a southerly direction for 1½ miles to its mouth on Wright Patman Lake (at 33°20' N, 94°14' W). The soils through which the creek flows are loamy, and the area is heavily wooded, with pines and various hardwoods predominating.
