PICKETT HOLLOW. Pickett Hollow rises nine miles west of Karnes City in western Karnes County (at 28°52' N, 98°03' W) and runs northwest for six miles to its mouth on Conquista Creek, four miles southwest of Falls City (at 28°55' N, 98°04' W). The creek traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
