PIN OAK CREEK (ROBERTSON COUNTY)
PIN OAK CREEK (Robertson County). Pin Oak Creek rises 2½ miles south of Franklin in Robertson County (at 30°59' N, 96°29' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches but changes to continuous. It flows south, then southwesterly, for fourteen miles to its mouth on the Little Brazos River, 2½ miles southwest of Hearne (at 30°50' N, 96°34' W). Little Pin Oak Creek is a tributary. The surrounding terrain is sloping to nearly level and is surfaced by loam that supports post oak and grass.
