PARITA CREEK. Parita Creek rises two miles southeast of Lone Oak in southeastern Bexar County (at 29°21' N, 98°14' W) and runs southwest for ten miles to its mouth on Calaveras Creek, two miles east of Elmendorf (at 29°16' N, 98°18' W). It traverses rolling terrain surfaced by clay loam that supports mesquite and grasses.
