PANTHER CREEK (ARCHER COUNTY)
PANTHER CREEK (Archer County). Panther Creek rises (at 33°43' N, 98°48' W) in north central Archer County four miles north of Lake Kickapoo and runs northeast for fourteen miles to its mouth (at 33°48' N, 98°39' W) on Holliday Creek, two miles southeast of Holliday. It traverses rolling terrain with local scarps, surfaced by sandy loams that support post oak trees and various grasses. The area has served as range and crop land.
