OLMOS CREEK (BEE COUNTY)
OLMOS CREEK (Bee County). Olmos Creek rises 1½ miles west of Olmos in southwestern Bee County (at 28°15' N, 97°51' W) and runs northeast for eight miles to its mouth at the headwaters of the Aransas River, two miles north of Skidmore (at 28°17' N, 97°42' W). The creek traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
