NEEDMORE CREEK. Needmore Creek rises in central Hemphill County (at 35°48' N, 100°13' W) and runs north for five miles to its mouth (at 35°52' N, 100°12' W) on the Canadian River. The land is flat to rolling with local escarpments, surfaced with deep, fine, sandy loams that support hardwoods, brush, and grasses.
