MARCELINAS CREEK. Marcelinas Creek rises six miles north of Floresville in central Wilson County (at 29°15' N, 98°07' W) and runs southeast for eighteen miles to its mouth on the San Antonio River, just east of Falls City in western Karnes County (at 28°59' N, 98°00' W). It is intermittent in its upper reaches. The creek traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
