LITTLE COWHOUSE CREEK
LITTLE COWHOUSE CREEK. Little Cowhouse Creek rises near Hamilton Municipal Airport a mile southeast of Hamilton in central Hamilton County (at 31°40' N, 98°09' W) and runs southwest five miles to join Cowhouse Creek, a mile north of Cowhouse Cemetery (at 31°36' N, 98°08' W). The stream, intermittent in its upper reaches, crosses variable terrain surfaced by shallow, stony clay loams that support juniper, oak, grasses, chaparral, and cacti.
