LEGG CREEK. Legg Creek rises one mile east of Douglass in western Nacogdoches County (at 31°40' N, 94°52' W) and flows southwest for 8½ miles to its mouth on the Angelina River, two miles southwest of Eden (at 31°35' N, 94°53' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. Flat terrain in the area has local shallow depressions and is surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
