LITTLE LINNVILLE BAYOU
LITTLE LINNVILLE BAYOU. Little Linnville Bayou rises twenty-four miles west of Angleton in west central Brazoria County (at 29°06' N, 95°50' W) and runs southeast for fourteen miles to its mouth on Linnville Bayou, just west of Hasima in Old Ocean oilfield (at 29°02' N, 95°47' W). The creek is intermittent in its upper reaches. It traverses flat terrain with local shallow depressions, surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
