LITTLE CANEY CREEK
LITTLE CANEY CREEK. Little Caney Creek rises two miles northwest of New Birthright in north central Hopkins County (at 33°17' N, 95°37' W) and runs southeast for five miles, passing under Farm Road 71 some 1½ miles west of New Birthright, then under State Highway 154/19 two miles due south of New Birthright, and then going on to its mouth on North Caney Creek (at 33°14' N, 95°34' W). The watercourse traverses nearly level to gently sloping terrain surfaced by loamy soils.
