LAKE CREEK (HASKELL COUNTY)
LAKE CREEK (Haskell County). Lake Creek rises four miles north of Haskell in Haskell County (at 33°13' N, 99°43' W) and runs northeast thirty-two miles through Knox County, past Goree, to its mouth on the Brazos River, in western Baylor County (at 33°34' N, 99°25' W). The local terrain is fairly level and is surfaced by deep clay loam that supports short grasses, scrub, and mesquite.
