KICASTER CREEK. Kicaster Creek rises four miles south of La Vernia in northern Wilson County (at 29°18' N, 98°12' W) and runs south for eleven miles to its mouth on the San Antonio River, three miles northwest of Floresville (at 29°10' N, 98°12' W). It is intermittent in its upper reaches. The creek traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
