KICKAPOO CREEK (HARRIS COUNTY)
KICKAPOO CREEK (Harris County). Kickapoo Creek rises in extreme northwest Harris County (at 30°05' N, 95°55' W) and runs east for 3½ miles to its mouth on Spring Creek (at 30°05' N, 95°50' W). The creek cuts through coastal prairie interspersed with wooded areas of pine and oak. The soil is a deep, sandy loam.
