JIM NEAL BRANCH
JIM NEAL BRANCH. Jim Neal Branch rises two miles southeast of Ranger in northeastern Eastland County (at 32°25' N, 98°38' W) and runs south five miles to its mouth on the Leon River, a mile east of Lake Leon (at 32°21' N, 98°39' W). The stream traverses an area of rolling hills, surfaced by moderately deep loams that support numerous short grasses and shrubs.
