GREENS CREEK (BASTROP COUNTY)
GREENS CREEK (Bastrop County). Greens Creek rises about two miles west of the Wilbarger Bend in the Colorado River in western Bastrop County (at 30°09' N, 97°29' W) and runs southeast for about 6½ miles to its mouth on Cedar Creek (at 30°05' N, 97°27' W). The creek runs through an area of stream terraces and uplands with loamy surface soils. Post oak woods are characteristic of the area.
